What is your mission?

Our desire is to help people identify and fulfill the mission for which God created them...

Made for a Mission

We are all made for a mission. In Romans, Paul says it this way:

Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.
Romans 12:4-8

Paul isn’t providing an exhaustive list of gifts in the church, rather a list to demonstrate that the church is made up of people with different gifts and abilities. If you are unsure of your mission, you may ask yourself this question: “How has God created me, molded me, and changed me so that I am who I am—ready to be further equipped for service?”

Southbridge is partnering with AssessMe.org in order to help answer this question and others related to finding your mission. AssessMe.org provides tools and assessments that will help each of us understand our "divine design" and discover our "sweet spot" for ministry.
